Delete Your ZimDrive Account

Google Play User Data Safety Compliance • Data Removal Guide

You have the right to delete your ZimDrive account and remove your personal information at any time. We provide two sanctioned methods to delete your account: directly inside the mobile app or via an email request without requiring the application.

Option 1: In the Mobile App (Fastest)

Instant scheduling through profile settings

Open the ZimDrive rider app or ZimDrive Driver companion app on your device.
Navigate to your Profile screen from the menu.
Scroll to the account section and tap Delete Account.
Confirm your request when prompted.

What happens next: Your session is immediately terminated across all devices. For rider accounts, a 30-day recovery window applies: if you change your mind, simply sign in with your phone and password within 30 days to restore your account. After 30 days, personal identification data is permanently anonymized.

Option 2: By Email (No App Installed)

Direct deletion request without needing access to the mobile app

If you no longer have access to the app or have uninstalled it, you can request account deletion by emailing our privacy team from your registered email address:

Please provide the phone number registered to your ZimDrive account so our team can locate and verify your profile.

Send Pre-Formatted Deletion Email

Requests submitted via email are verified and fulfilled within 30 days.

Important Considerations Before Deleting

Wallet Balance Forfeiture

Any balance remaining in your in-app ZimDrive wallet is permanently forfeited upon account deletion and cannot be recovered. Please spend or withdraw your funds prior to requesting deletion.

No Active Trips Allowed

Account deletion is automatically rejected while a ride is in progress. The trip must be safely completed or cancelled before requesting deletion.
